1. Chamunda Devi : Chamunda Devi Temple is a renowned holy shrine of the Hindus. Located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, Chamunda Devi Mandir is at a distance of 10 kms from Palampur, on the banks of Baner River. This ancient temple dates back to the 16th century. The temple is dedicated to Chamunda Devi, who is a form of Durga / Shakti.Chamunda Devi Mandir is believed to be the abode of 'Shiva and Shakti'. Due to this reason, it is also known as 'Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham'.


 

2. Brajeshwari Mata : Brajeshwari Devi temple located and Kangra is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees from all part of North India reach here to pay there pilgrimage to the Mata Sati.This temple build on the charred breast of "Sati Mata". This temple is ruined by many plundered several times. Mahmud Ghazini was the first plunderer. In 1905 temple was destroyed by severe earthquake of Kangra Valley, but rebuilt in the same year, thanks to Kangra Restoration Committee for the same.



3. Jawalaji Mata : Jwalaji (flame) or Jwala Mukhi (flame mouth) is probably the most ancient temple discussed here besides Vaishno Devi. It is mentioned in the Mahabharata and other scriptures. There is a natural cave where eternal flames continue to burn. Some say there are seven or nine flames for the seven divine sisters or the nine Durgas. It is here that Sati's tongue fell which can now be seen in the form of the flame. 


4. Mahakal Temple : Mahakal Temple is situated 5 kms from Baijnath Mandir.This is another ancient temple which is visited by many people. This temple was constructed in the medival period.This temple is visited by hundreds of devotees during Saturadays of Bhadrapada.


5. Mukutnath Temple : This is another Shiv temple 8km far from Baijnath. It is believed that the first plant of Tulsi was present in the premises of this temple.


6. Baba Baroh Temple : Baba Baroh Temple is a newly constructed shrine located at Baroh, in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and his consort Radha.Goddess Durga is also worshipped here.This beautiful temple is constructed with white marble and is the largest marble temple in Himachal Pradesh.The ancient temple of Kali Nath Bhole Shankar, situated near to the temple, is worth a visit.
